Junior winner - Miss Priya Pankhania - Pinner Hill

The first year of the HowDidiDo/Golf Monthly Order of Merit has now come to an end. And what a first year it has been. It only ran for 3 months of the season, but we had an unexpectedly enthusiastic response. More than 11000 golfers signed up in this first year to compete on the national stage. The whole of the UK was represented with participants spread across the country all qualifying to play on their own club course against a standard scratch score. The overall winners reflect the coverage of the competition with winners coming from across the UK and Ireland.

This year's winners are:

Overall and Men's winner - Michael Wilson - Playsport Golf Club, East Kilbride - 4022 points

Ladies Winner- Patricia Costello - Rathbane Golf Club, Limerick - 3672 points

Junior winner - Miss Priya Pankhania - Pinner Hill Golf Club, London - 4190 points

All winners will be contacted directly and the prizes dispatched as soon as is practical. The team at HowDidiDo and Golf Monthly would like to thank Titleist, FootJoy and PowaKaddy for their generous support in the Order of Merit.

The competition was put together to reward consistent play in club golf throughout the last three months of the 2011 season. Our winners have proved their skills in that arena. We thank everyone that took part and we look forward to the Order of Merit returning next year. In 2012 it will last the entire season and we look forward to inviting you again to take part with more competitors and bigger prizes.

** This HowDidiDo website is an online service run by our membership/ handicap software provider, Club Systems 2000, and is not controlled by the club administration. Each time a competition is closed here internally on our systems, the information should automatically upload to the website if all communication links are functioning correctly. Any other golf club not using the Club Systems software (e.g. over 60% of clubs for away score information) although linked through the “central data base of Handicaps" (CDH) may also not be updated in a timely manor for the same reasons.

Therefore please be aware the information on the  Howdidido website may not be entirely or up to date, and is therefore only a guide to your current handicap and competition history. The only accurate and up to date information is shown internally on the PSI system here in the club.
