Matthew Richardson

Matthew Richardson, born in Worcestershire, spent his early teens, in the 1990's "in house" at Pinner Hill where his grandfather, Albert, was the Club's steward., His glittering amateur career started here and his many Middlesex and National accomplishments are recorded in the club-house. He was a most successful amateur golfer, with the pinnacle of his amateur career being an appearance in the 2005 Walker Cup

Matthew turned professional in 2006. He played on the European Tour in 2007 and joined the Nationwide Tour in 2009. He finished third at the 2009 Mexico Open, where he shot a final round 67 to jump up the tournament leaderboard. Matthew also qualified for the 2010 US Open at Pebble Beach – where he made the cut.

Matthew’s dream foursome would include Jack Nicklaus, Ben Hogan and Arnold Palmer. Richardson roots for Arsenal Football Club in England and his favourite city to visit is Sydney Australia.
