Congratulations to all team players and caddies who took part in the many rounds. The final team consisted of Dave Hale (Captain) Cormac McCarthy, Tom Nagle, Dylan Gadhia, Ritik Patel, Martin Toye, Gary Clark, Alan Findlater. Particular thanks must go to Gary Clark for one very special 4 hole play off against Justin Phelps to secure the victory.

The Pinner Hill The Tigers Section caters for golfers of 10 handicap and lower.  We play matches against other clubs and organise internal competitions and well-attended sectional away-days.  We are a vibrant and active section, always looking for new players rising through the ranks.

about us:

Each year our players compete in various Middlesex competitions such as the Frank Rowse Trophy and Presidents Foursomes.  In addition, the Tigers compete against various other clubs in the Leslie Flack and Cameron Johnstone League and the Bullivant Bowl knockout.  We are split into “Tigers A” (Generally handicaps 3-6) and “Tigers B” (Generally handicaps 7-11) sub-sections, both groups having their own teams and events, and occasionally competing against each other.

Tigers section golfers play an important role in offering advice on competitions, course condition and improvements and we sit on the various Green keeping and Golf Activities committees.   Our emphasis is on competitive and enjoyable golf.
We’ve recently been joined by a number of improving young golfers who have come up through our excellent Junior section and are actively encouraged to play in competitive matches against other clubs.  Over recent years our section has produced a Walker Cup player and a European Tour pro.  We believe our competitive section combined with our challenging course provide a good environment for rising talent.

The section is looking to recruit more members and if you are thinking of joining PHGC and would like more information regarding the section or to play a social round with a member, please contact the General Managers office.
