Theatre Group

Friday the 18^th November saw the 15th AGM and Supper of the Theatre Group – eighty members enjoyed the annual get-together. Lots of pictures shown below - some look like publicity shots for a West End Farce and some for a Who Dunnit! - You decide ;o)

Events in 2011 included:

Les Miserables at Queens Theatre; The Marriage of Figaro at Holland Park; Tour of the Olympic Sites; End of the Rainbow at Trafalgar Studios; The Monarchy – talk by Russell Grant, Blue Badge Guide, followed by a carvery at PHGC; When We Are Married, a farcical comedy; and Cinderella – the ballet.

The group recently enjoyed a visit to "One Man, Two Guvnors" with James Cordon at the Adelphi Theatre on 24^th November.

Bookings for 2012 include:

26th January Midnight Tango with stars of Strictly Come Dancing - SOLD OUT

15th March - She Stoops to Conquer - at the National Theatre

19th March - Purcell School 50th Anniversary Concert at the Royal Festival Hall

A visit to the Magic Circle is planned for later in the year.

Mailshots/emails for the March events will be sent to all Theatre Club members at the beginning of February. We will again be booking seats for the Holland Park Opera in the summer.
