The Ladies Section at Pinner Hill is friendly and inclusive, consisting of women of all ages and varying handicaps. It is run by our Lady Captain and her committee, all of whom have specific roles.

Welcome to Pinner Hill Golf Club Ladies Section.

Whether you are completely new to golf, working toward your handicap, an experienced player or even just thinking about starting your golf journey you will be warmly welcomed and supported by our Pinner Hill Golf Club Ladies section.

Passionate about encouraging more women to play and enjoy golf, our Ladies section, with around 100 members, provides support and encouragement at all levels ensuring you have the opportunity to demonstrate and improve your golfing skills and handicap and also make new friends along the way.

With a variety of membership options to fit your needs our competitions and friendly matches run both during the week and at weekends throughout the year. Our vibrant competition programme includes regular friendly and formal inter-club competitions. Our Pearson Team (handicap 13-32) and our Scratch Team, (lower handicap players) compete, and win, regularly. In addition, we enter Middlesex and national competitions, enjoying success in events such as the national Coronation Foursomes competition. On a Friday our informal fun competition, the “Friday fiddle”, is great way to meet new people and enjoy playing golf in a fun social session. There are also regular opportunities to participate in mixed events throughout the year, again providing an opportunity to meet and play with other golfers of all standards from across our club.

Our Lady Captain/Vice Captain and our committee organise a number of events throughout the year including our Spring Meeting, Lady Captain’s Day, Autumn Meeting, Invitation Day, Turkey Trot and our AGM providing individual and team competition at all levels, usually followed by an informal dinner, prize giving and of course lots of laughter.

Every new member is supported by a Mentor who will help you get to know both the club and course, encourage you take part in the activities of your choice and introduce you to other members. For those joining our Academy (see below)  there are designated “chaperoned” sessions on the course in addition to your formal lessons and also dedicated PowerPoint presentations to help you learning the rules and “etiquette” of golf building your confidence to play not only at Pinner Hill but on any golf course worldwide. Membership brings automatic affiliation with England Golf and Middlesex golf who run a range of events offering further opportunities improve your skills, play, compete and connect with others.


With opportunities for golfers at every level we look forward to welcoming you to Pinner Hill Golf Club and continuing our golfing journey together.

Learn to Play Golf and join Pinner Hill Golf Club’s friendly and lively Ladies Golf section.


Pinner Hill Golf Club Ladies section are passionate about encouraging more women to play and enjoy golf.  Our Academy helps you learn how to play, supports you in gaining your handicap and invites you to enjoy all the social and competitive games at our club.  With nearly 100 ladies, across all ability levels, there is plenty of opportunity to meet and play with others.

Our programme starts with group lessons from our PGA professionals and progresses to joining, at a much-reduced membership fee, our Academy for a year.  As an Academy member you will benefit from the support of a mentor and course chaperone to help you feel confident venturing onto the course each week to practice your developing golfing skills.   In addition, you will quickly become proficient in course etiquette and the rules of golf whilst improving your handicap and building your confidence on the course.  We offer a warm and friendly welcome to all, from absolute beginners, to those returning to golf (for whom there are also other membership options available).
